What This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy applies to our websites (unboundelectronics.com and mytranskribe.com) and to our sales channels. The mytranskribe.com landing page defers to this Privacy Policy for all data protection information.
This Privacy Policy does not govern the Transkribe device itself. The Transkribe device processes recordings, transcriptions, and documents locally on the device and does not transmit that content to Unbound Electronics. Information you provide to us through our websites or sales channels, for example when you place an order, back our campaign, sign up to a mailing list, or contact us, is covered by this Privacy Policy.

Sales and Crowdfunding Platforms
We currently offer Transkribe through the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform. When you back our campaign, Kickstarter collects and processes your personal information as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. Kickstarter shares certain information with us, such as your name, email address, pledge details, and, where applicable, shipping information, so that we can communicate with you and fulfill rewards. We process that information as a controller for those purposes.
We may in the future sell through our own online store and through third-party marketplaces such as Amazon. Where we do, those platforms process your personal information under their own privacy policies, and we will update this Privacy Policy as needed.
